Mamilla is a guitar rock-band from the Dutch province of Zeeland. Since their debut in January 1994, they have had a lot of gigs. They were playing at big festivals together with i.e. Mark Foggo, 16Down, Krezip and De Heideroosjes. They have been a support act for Dutch bands like Normaal and De Dijk and even for international bands like The American classic twin-guitar band Wishbone Ash and in 2006 Mamilla even played as a support act for the famous Woodstock blues legends Ten Years After at Plato in Helmond.
Last years Mamilla had given more gigs on the great places as P60 Amstelveen, EXIT Rotterdam and
with Wishbone Ash at "De Waerdse Tempel" Heerhugowaard.
Because Mamilla is a real live band, they are mostly seen while doing energetic live-shows at well known rock cafés. Their music is often described as good rock with marvelous guitar works, emotional voice-parts, together with rock-solid baselines and drums and there has never been a gig where they haven't left a tremendous impression.
